We have our first workman’s compensation claim by an employee for a chronic injury that was very likely caused while at work. We need advice from an employer perspective. Can anyone give insight on these questions or has any employer on this forum dealt with workman’s compensation claims?
Are there any concerns or pitfalls an employer will need to know about when there is a workman’s comp claim? (Injury requires 1 month out of work and rehabilitation. We have workman’s comp insurance)

*How long can an employee be out of work due to the Worker’s Comp claim?
